In this day and age of changing house designs, windows often end up out of reach, as was the case with this house in Northumberland, we were asked by the house owner to install blinds at the 2 front windows, one of which was next to the door and the other was 4 meters from the ground above the door. Whilst these windows provide a great source of light, they also have a diverse effect on privacy. This was easily solved with 2 full cassette Roller blinds, operated by remote control, and timer, because we were called in after plaster and painting was complete we used the ‘ Somfy’ battery powered motor, the battery is constantly topped up using a discreet solar panel. Problem solved at the touch of a button.
